POUGHKEEPSIE – Vassar College announced on Monday that it will permit pre-accredited supervised off-campus university student travel, paving the way for its spring athletic teams to contend. The new guidelines will go into effect on March 22.
President Elizabeth Bradley mentioned the final decision was created pursuing a comprehensive evaluation of off-campus protocols and treatments to be put in spot.

All off-campus travel must be pre-authorized by a newly established human body, the Off-Campus Travel Assessment Committee and learners touring off-campus will have to be accompanied by a Vassar staff, such as a coach, faculty member, or higher education administrator, in a ratio of 1/12 or a person chaperone for each vehicle, whichever is more.
