Statue of Unity attracts more tourists than Statue of Liberty

India’s Statue of Liberty is one of the most celebrated structures in the country today. The statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the state of Gujarat is one of India’s most priced developments in recent years. Now, according to reports, the Statue of Liberty is getting more tourist footfall than the Statue of Liberty.

The massive structure is the tallest statue in the world as of today, standing at 182 m tall. Located on the banks of the Narmada rRiver in Gujarat’s Kevadia, it was completed in October 2018. The beautiful location makes it an even better experience. The statue stands on the banks of Narmada, while Vindyachal and Satpura ranges surround it.

The Statue of Liberty, on the other hand, was completed in 1886, and is a symbol of America as a nation that champions freedom. It has been a great symbol of hope for immigrants who came into the country after days of harrowing journey on sea.

Both these statues have meaning far beyond our comprehension, and they are certainly inspirational to say the least. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the first Deputy Prime Minister of India after independence. A great leader, Patel was instrumental in the formation of the nation as we know it.

The Statue of Unity is certainly a great pride for the country, and now it seems that the statue is getting a lot more visitors than the Statue of Liberty.
