The next-string India squad for the Sri Lanka tour will assemble in Mumbai from June 14 to endure a two-week quarantine. ESPNcricinfo has learnt that the customers of the Indian contingent have been asked to just take a Covid-19 check before they access the team lodge in Mumbai, in which they will bear typical screening in the course of the two-7 days interval.
Rahul Dravid, who will be the head mentor for the tour, will also vacation to Mumbai to be portion of the quarantine.
The Indian squad, which will be led by senior batter Shikhar Dhawan, will land in Colombo on June 28. The visitors will then bear a further 3-day quarantine in their resort rooms prior to commencing teaching in a managed manner as per the tips laid out by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

On Friday, SLC issued a media release stating the Indian squad would coach in smaller sized teams involving July 2 and 4. Among July 6 and 12, the full squad will be no cost to coach ahead of the ODI series, which starts from July 13. All 6 matches of the tour, comprising 3 ODIs followed by equivalent selection of T20Is, will be played underneath lights at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The final two ODIs will be on July 16 and 18 with the T20Is on July 21, 23, 25. The India squad will return property on July 26. This is India’s first tour in Sri Lanka given that Rohit Sharma led them to the Nidahas Trophy title in 2018.
