Prosecutors Drop Charge for 4th Suspect in Hotel Stabbing

Assistant Commonwealth’s Legal professional Kimberly Phillips nowadays agreed not to prosecute Nicole Robinson’s felony aggravated malicious wounding demand related to a stabbing 5 months in the past.

Robinson, 27, was the fourth suspect associated in the Sept. 1, 2020 stabbing of Lawrence Terry Charles at the Hyatt Location Lodge on Ridgetop Circle in Sterling. That night time, Robinson and Daren Burr, James Burr and Tyrell Jefferson have been viewed on security footage “quickly exiting the hotel,” in accordance to an affidavit submitted by Sheriff’s Place of work Det. Sean McCormack, as Charles was remaining in a hallway bleeding out.

Situation documents suggest that Robinson’s felony cost was dropped since she has cooperated with the investigation.

In accordance to McCormack’s affidavit, Charles was talking with Robinson in his hotel space before he stepped out to get ice. On his walk to the ice device, Charles informed the detective, he was stabbed 5 periods by at minimum two of the adult men and was taken to the clinic and put on a ventilator. McCormack stated Charles explained to him that $700 was missing from his hotel place following the assault.

Jefferson and both equally Burrs were charged with felony aggravated malicious wounding and felony destructive wounding by a mob. Jefferson faces a March 8-16 jury demo, James Burr faces a March 31 to April 6 jury demo and Daren Burr faces an April 19-27 jury demo.
