Oroville hearth crews extinguish early early morning hotel fire

OROVILLE, Calif. – Firefighters put out a fireplace at a resort in Oroville early Thursday morning. Oroville Hearth Department Main Chris Tenns stated they first received the simply call all-around 3:10 a.m. about a hearth at the Budget Inn on Feather River Blvd.

Law enforcement then arrived soon following and evacuated every person who was staying at the resort. Firefighters say the fireplace started out on 1 aspect of the constructing.

Firefighters had been in a position to halt it from spreading and preserve many other models from burning.

The fire made its way into the attic of the making. Crews had to drill a hole into the roof to entirely extinguish the hearth.

Oroville Hearth Department reported it took firefighters about an hour to knock down the flames. No accidents were being described.
