LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Officers with the Lincoln Police Section arrested a guy they say was hoping to steal a Television set from a lodge, eventually finding out he was driving a stolen truck with drugs in a backpack.
About 3 a.m. on Wednesday, officers have been called to Region Inn and Suites, in close proximity to NW 12th and W Adams Streets on a larceny report.
LPD said officers spoke with a 22-yr-old woman who noted that she’d been remaining at the resort with a close friend, determined as 35-calendar year-aged Matthew Huston, who had stolen her backpack and the Tv from the lodge area they were being remaining in.
Officers mentioned Huston and an additional guy had been seen putting the Tv set in the again of a white Dodge Decide-up by the woman.
