Law enforcement look into multiple auto break-ins at 3 motels in Fenton

FENTON, Mo. – St. Louis County police are investigating after multiple vehicles have been broken into overnight at three resorts in Fenton. 
  
Many guests who stayed right away at Drury Inn & Suites, Marriot Fairfield and Pear Tree Inn, which are located in near proximity to each and every other, had their vehicles broken into. It is doable that items were being stolen from the cars.  
     
“I immediately went out to see if my car or truck experienced been hit,” said Heather Owino, a guest at the Drury Inn & Fits. 
   
“It was shocking. Everything had great reviews, the area (had) high safety marks. I guess I’m just surprised no one’s alarm went off and nobody noticed anybody do it.” 

It is unclear how many cars have been qualified at the Drury Inn & Suites, but multiple motor vehicles were damaged and ransacked, in accordance to company.  

“Police (were) taking photographs of many autos,” Owino reported. “One was parked further more absent from the setting up. More mature products did not have alarms.” 

At the very least 11 automobiles were being broken into at the Pear Tree Inn, according to police, and several motor vehicles were broken at the Marriot Fairfield.  

“It’s an unfortunate and disheartening problem,” a Drury Motels spokesperson said in a assertion.

“We are cooperating with community authorities and have questioned them for further patrolling help as a deterrent towards this variety of criminal behavior in the long run. It’s our hope that any person included in this incident is recognized and prosecuted.”
