Performing a handstand displays gymnastic promise – but staying ready to fold oneself in two genuinely is an unbelievable feat.
Liberty Barros, 12, can do just that – and twist herself into other mindbending styles – many thanks to her hyperflexible talents.
They have attained her the nickname Elastigirl, right after the character in Disney and Pixar’s films The Incredibles.

Only two yrs in the past Liberty was having difficulties to maintain up in gymnastics, dismayed that she could not complete a cartwheel.
Then 1 working day she was seeing pop star Rihanna’s tunes movie for her strike Umbrella and experimented with to mimic the moves. Instantly she identified she could bend above backwards with ease.
She has because travelled the earth with youth circuses, browsing Thailand, Malaysia, Portugal and Hollywood, to demonstrate off her gymnastic potential.
‘It was such a bizarre experience at to start with,’ Liberty said, recalling when she identified her talent. ‘I’ve witnessed contortionists currently being pulled and twisted into place and it seems to be terrifying.’

Her parents Raam, 32, and Elisette, 33, from Slough, Berkshire, were stunned by their daughter’s all-natural versatility.
Her father, who is now her supervisor also, mentioned: ‘It’s mad what she can do – physicians don’t know why she can do this. It is a thing for a youngster to be so one of a kind. Liberty seriously is particular.’
In The Incredibles and its sequel, Elastigirl is the superhero title for mom-of-3 Helen Parr, who will come out of retirement to use her versatile powers for the great of humankind. The character is voiced by Holly Hunter.
