Girl arrested after biting, assaulting officer

CHICO, Calif. – A girl was arrested just after she ran from a law enforcement officer and assaulted the officer Monday early morning, Chico Law enforcement Office said.

Law enforcement acquired a report at 2:29 a.m. that a girl, 23-12 months-aged Sequoia Daub, threatened to stab lodge team at the Double Tree Lodge and refused to leave.

When an officer arrived, Daub was outside the house the resort house and ran away when the officer tried to speak with Daub.

The officer chased Daub and caught up with her at Cohasset Street and Mangrove Ave.

When the officer tried to detain Daub, she ripped aspect of the radio off the officer’s uniform and pulled the officer’s hair.

Daub then tried to gouge the officer’s eye but her thumb finished up in the officer’s mouth. Daub bit the officer in the arm and ongoing to pull the officer’s hair.

More officers arrived at the scene and Daub was place in handcuffs.

The officer sustained abrasions and bruises from the assault and was in a position to entire her shift.

Daub was booked into the Butte County Jail for violations of assault on a police officer and resisting an govt officer.
