Female ‘raped’ by gentleman she met on courting application

A female has lodged a grievance of rape listed here from a 42-12 months-previous male whom she had fulfilled by a dating application a short while ago, the town police said.

The accused raped her at a lodge on Monday right after spiking her consume, as for every the FIR registered by Worli law enforcement. A situation beneath sections 328 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) from the accused has been registered.

In the FIR, the girl reported the incident took position when they went to a 5-star lodge in Mumbai’s Worli spot to celebrate her birthday, in accordance to a report by Hindustan Situations.

The female said she met the guy as a result of a dating app and they chatted for about a thirty day period. On Monday, he organised a birthday bash for her at a 5-star resort suite and asked her to appear. When she reached, the accused supplied her a glass of wine.

She mentioned in her grievance that she started to experience drowsy quickly, following which her ‘date’ sexually assaulted her.

“The girl started out feeling drowsy right after having wine, after which the accused allegedly raped her,” the law enforcement explained to Hindustan Instances.

No arrest has been made in the scenario so far, the law enforcement reported, introducing that probe is on. 

Even further investigations are underway.
